October was typical, compared to previous years.


The month started with a "Harvest Moon" and I used my new long zoom for a cool picture of it.


After that we put Zeelandia to bed for the next seven or more months. Sailing Season is much too short in Manitoba. But we DID get to use the boat and have fun this year. One of my fondest memories is sailing with the (Grand) kids, and having Keenan help me steer the boat (Photo by Alicia):

After that it was the usual Yard Leaf Ranking excersize, with the grandkids having a blast helping and hindering.  A family Thanks Giving's dinner, early snowfall, late bloomers, Starlings in the Cottonwood and Cindy's Birthday closed out the month. 

All in all a good time - till the last few days when Covid struck again, closing pools and everything else.  Highlights can be viewed here:
